Sex Pistols‘ singer Johnny Rotten is accused of racism by Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke after allegedly beating down Okereke following a festival performance in Barcelona, this past weekend. The Bloc Party singer reportedly approached Rotten to ask about a PIL reunion when he was physically attacked by Rotten and his entourage, pelted with racial epithets and left with a split lip with severe facial bruising. Ricky Wilson of Kaiser Chiefs and Yannis Philippakis of The Foals both jumped in to save the outnumbered singer.  Lydon, who claims that Kele is just jealous of his accomplishments and seeking publicity, recently made pop singer Duffy cry when she tried talking to him at the Mojo awards.
